Most of the Internet Service Providers have a free option

to eliminate spam, which includes alot of viruses that are mass-mailed.

EarthLink calls theirs "spaminator", and it will  reduce the amount of junk

you get. Most ISP sites have a link to how to sign up for it.

 

There's a nasty non-virus that comes as Email, and if you have OUTLOOK

Express, and have your Email preview pane open, as soon as you highlight

this email to delete it, it opens, and if you are logged onto the internet, it starts

downloading porno pictures, and creating files in Microscoft notpad. Plus

it locks up your machine.

 

The hackers/virus creators are getting better and better unfortunately.
