With respect to the National Championship Ride, LD miles were never
intended to be counted as part of the qualifying criteria.  Only endurance
miles were to be used as qualificaiton, and going back to last years
qualification
criteria would not accept LD miles toward the minimum criteria.

Hey Terry, same respect here, but if I read your message correctly, you're
saying that they needed a total of 200 endurance-only miles last year.....
That didn't happen, LAST years' qualification was 200 lifetime miles but
not specific to endurance so YES, there were a significant number of
entrants with less than 200 lifetime endurance miles that competed.  Mike
was right.  One of the changes voted on at mid-year got rid of the LD
miles.
