John:  Would you like the spreadsheets I have on the 5k mile horses? I have 
them figured by starting year, last year of competition, how many years it 
took to get to 5k, # of BC's and by region.  It's very interesting.  It's 
only missing a few of the recent ones.  I can finish it up when I get the 
current (thru 02) year horses.   k   P.S. most of that data from the older 
horses don't show any info on pulls
