Ride Secretary: Jan Stevens

October 9-11, 2003, Henryville, Indiana, in conjunction with the Spook Run 50/100.

For more information on any of these three IAHA Championships contact the IAHA National Events Department, (303) 696-4541 or

IAHA has actually expanded its distance riding award programs and promotional efforts by approving a new highpoint award for Arabians and Half-Arabians/Anglo-Arabians competing at the 50 mile to 99 mile distances. This new award will be presented at the 2002 AERC Convention for the Arabian and Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian that has won the most AERC points at those distances. IAHA has also expanded its National Championship to include a 50-mile National Championship in addition to the 100-Mile National Championship. In addition IAHA now offers an Amateur Achievement Awards Program that tracks points/miles by amateur rider rather than by horse.
