    Gosh, I know I'm not supposed to do this, but I SO AGREE with both Susan and
    Becky.
    
    What I want to know is what the heck is wrong with the way things are that
    someone wants to go changing the rules into something incredibly
    complicated? It's simple now. KISS at work. The horse finishes an LD when it
    pulses down to parameters in under 6 hours.

    I'd like to add another thought to Becky's post.
    
    If a rider takes 5:50 to ride 25 miles and can't pulse
    down in 10 minutes, there may be something wrong and
    that team doesn't deserve a completion.
    
    A friend of mine finished 50 miles over a TOUGH Ozark
    course.  Unfortunately, she was 3 minutes OT.
    Heartbreaking...and part of the sport.  Why should the
    LD be any different?
