I believe that I read it last year in Horse Illustrated.
they did a thing on the top horse movies of all times and I can't
remember if this movie made the list, or it was in someone's letter
commentary later, but  they said that it was just a story made up
for a movie. I can't check the source b/c I usually don't keep the HI
magazines after I read them, but it would have been in 2000 at some point
that I read it. Again, I never said that I KNEW it was true or false,
only that I had read it was false.
