    Angie, I "started" out with a 1/2 ton Dodge automatic, old piece of junk,
    pulling a 2 horse Miley,another old piece of junk.  I did pretty darn good
    with that truck, but would not have considered going with a bigger trailer
    (although some of the new slant loads weight close to what the Miley did).
    
    It's not just the pulling, it's the ability to STOP....most 3/4 ton trucks
    have
    better brakes.....and one ton truck even better.
    
    If you are going to do much pulling, or go to bigger trailer..I sure hope
    your truck is a manual transmission.
