I can't imagine anyone taking advantage of someone
generous enough to help them in so many ways. We have another term besides
"loser". Such a person could be called a "user".
I always compensate my friend in some way when
she trailers my horse with hers to training rides. I have my own rig but she
goes within a mile of my house when headed to our favorite training loop. But I
still give something in return-- she won't take money. So, I often give her
farrier work as "payment" (I am her farrier).
