    Yeah - at the harness track - where I rub da horses - years ago, my
    client called it "the Catholic procedure"  -- ROFL :)  
    And he described it as used with mares that had an abnormally-placed
    vulva, which could catch feces due to it's too horizontally-slanted
    angle.
    (hmmmm - kinda like a gutter effect? ))))
