[RC] Loin Rubbing - Mike & Kathy Kelly

I have been trying to stop my SportSaddle from rubbing the loin of my short-backed arab Gabriel.  Someone suggested I try center-fired rigging, so I tried SportTack's set-up.  It was very simple to put the rigging on my SportSaddle.

It kept the back of the saddle much more stable, and I stopped having any loin rubbing problems!  Unfortunately, Gabriel also has a pronounced girth groove right behind his forelegs, and this set-up caused the saddle to be pulled forward on him.

So if anyone out there is battling loin-rubbing problems, I have a brand new SportTack center-fired rigging set-up for sale on Endurance Net posted 10/23.
