I tried this once and it did not go through. Thank you R M and volunteers for a job well done.
It was a great day for a ride, not to hot not to cold.
We did the loop twice and I was amazed at what I had missed the first time around. I asked my friend Linda,"Did you see that the first time?" Her reply was yes and then a turn later, I saw where I had been. Amazing.
The ride had wonderful sand training and the 2nd time around it was a little deeper. A lot of grades that many may not have realized but if one had looked behind themselves, they would have seen.
My horse I rode, Abraxas Alla, (aka Guy) did the ride before the ride on Fri. The hole he dug made him, if I had saddled him there, a 16 hand horse instead of a 15/1 horse that he is.(Think he was conditioning for multidays???) I saddled outside of his area or should I say his HOLE!!! lol.
This was Guy's 2nd ride with me (his first Jen Nice rode him and then he was ridden by another person for me). The two ride Guy and I have completed is now two 2nds.
O K off that. The trail as I said had good sand training and some hills and lots of grades. Water was well placed and thank you water people. You were great!!!
THe banquet dinner was to die for. I had not eaten all day per usual and this is the second time I have really enjoyed the meal. The other was two weeks before at Terry's ride.
The vets were great and caring. Thank you.
Again, thank you R M, volunteers and vets.
