Re: [RC] BC award for 11th place? - Susan Young Casey

Tying for 10th is a toughie! At my rides, I've had
ties for 1st; the first 10 riders would stand for BC.
    No brainer.

If it were me, I'd let the top 11 stand if there were
a tie for 10th. AERC still lets the RM use a little
common sense; they don't tell us what to do...they
just give us a few rules and some guidelines.

I'm sure there are RMs out there in RC Land with
    experience in this very topic.

The BC horse at Cueno Creek 50 was the 10th place
horse. Just so happens there was another 10th place
horse as well. The horse was NOT 11th place. The
horse after those 2 was actually the 12th place horse.

I suppose the RM made that decision. However, if 2
horses raced across the finish line dead even, which
one would get to stand for BC and which one would be
outta luck? BOTH finished in 10th position and are
    eligible to stand for BC.
