    [RC] splint bone - Merryben

    I had a splint bone removed from a horse a while ago because he had fractured it.  He went on to finish his first 100 miler, Tevis, with a rider from Italy who had never ridden a 100 before and he did just fine.  He is still going, owned by a teenager.....he is 27 and she still rides him.....mb
