    [RC] Allergies - Carizima

Me too - here in N. Nevada . I have a couple with this going on . I had my Dressage horse have his throat scoped and blood work done only to find out he has allergies . The only trouble I have had with it is he is less comfortable with school work when the swelling is bigger . It seems to come and go with whatever is blooming or sending out pollen - it effects me too . I have given him garlic and vitamin C which isn't hurting and maybe helping.

<This year quite a few horses (Northern NC) in my area had swellings that
sounded similar to yours--behind the jaw bone on the throat latch area.
When my vet was asked about the swellings, she said that more than likely
they are caused my allergies. >>
