Oh yes, I agree. Most of my best horses have been what I
call project horses, and I have retrained allot of them. But if you can
understand the owners level of skill, and get a feel for what the problem
is, and you are less likely to get hurt. These days most of my strange horse
handling situations are to fit saddles, you can't believe some of the goofy
experiences I have had. Sometimes for their own good, I do tell them to
begin their saddle purchasing project with a new horse! Of course after that I
don't usually get to sell a saddle. But Its fun to get out and see all the
horses and people, and a lively one keeps us awake. The Horse I have
now is a project horse, a real project, he is a handful. But I wouldn't trade
him for anything. Annie

is very true, but I have also bought two of my best horses from people
who
were petrified of them. Not a thing wrong with the horse, all
the
problem was with the former owner
