The AERC durg rule doesn't say you can never, ever use a substance. It 
says you cannot compete on it. If you use such a supplement withdraw the 
horse about 3 to 4 days prior to the start of the ride and you should be 
fine. If your horse cannot eaisly go three or four days without such a 
substance, you should reconsider competition on this horse.
