    I would love to know why a trail dangerous enough for horses to fall off of
    is presented to the public for a competitive event.  As a ride manager, I
    wouldn't dream of doing that.  I couldn't deal with the guilt, knowing that
    the trail wasn't as safe as it could possibly be.  Even then, horses fall on
    pavement, or stumble over rocks, but to fall down a steep bank into a
    river??????
