    As a general rule stated with the intention to inform the readers of the
    predominant trend on this subject and to not imply bad feelings against
    others but, it is believed most farriers tend to remove too much
    hoofwall in the heel area of the hoof. Could the number of horses found
    to have this condition be a coincidence based on their individual
    anatomical configuration, or a misjudgement in depth control while
    operating nippers and hoofrasp on the part of the operator, ie. farrier?
