    Most of the rides in my area cost about $1.50/mile. 
The multidays I've done range from $1.40/mile to
$1.65/mile.  I paid $1.40/mile at the last multiday
and the food was provided.  It was EXCELLENT too!  And
the awards...!!!  Wow!

Man...for $3/mile, I'd expect a horse trailer to each  finisher!
