RE: [RC] Lighter Side/drugs - Bob Morris

Well, no one has thought of Wild Turkey, Jack Daniels, Yukon
Jack, as well as the rest of the concoctions produced at
    endurance rides. Darvocet and wine?

A quarter of a tab of bute. It has risks
    (http://www.focusonmedications.com/Script/Main/Art.asp?li=MN
    I&ArticleKey=709)
and will give you a unique queasy feeling for about 48
    hours, but it
will take care of your knee pain (I've only used it once,
    when a
severe flare-up of plantar fasciitis left me barely able to
    walk or
care for my horse at a ride -- I knew the blood disorder
    risks but
apparently dodged the bullet.) Not for casual use.
