    See how much power you guys have? The 'define a start' issue has been
    discussed by the AERC BOD and the rules committee and it's pretty unanimous
    that it is already well defined, there's no doubt about when a rider
    'starts' and that all 'starters' should be accounted for. Notice will be
    given to ride managers that all starters are to be listed as starters in the
    AERC results.
    
    I think my irrational comments (call it loyalty I suppose) helped to heat up
    this debate. At any rate, don't worry, it's not a rule problem, just one of
    those pesky ride manager issues.
