[RC] riding in Arizona questions - Ridecamp Guest

    Joyous Days ksmules@xxxxxxxxx
    Hello.
I am an endurance rider from the midwest. We have an opportunity to live in Arizona. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the riding situation there. Is the weather and terrain good for riding? I have noticed there is a big park there, also have noticed there are rides in New Mexico, Utah and California to attend and that even Colordao is not too far!

Is land for horses available? And I understand irrigation is used. Is anyone familiar with the cost of hay? We are looking at around Phoenix.

Then there is the question about critters, such as scorpions, tarantulas -- what must a person be aware of. . .

    Thank you!
