Ridecamp: [RC] Question for the vets about DOD

Hi, I'm hoping you can give me some answers about how to prevent and/or 
correct Developmental Orthopedic Disorder.  We currently have a half 
Arabian filly that is very fast growing and is beginning to show signs of 
DOD in her fetlocks, is there any specific feeding regimen to correct this 
or is she missing some vital mineral or vitamin?  She likes to eat mud but 
turns her nose up at our vit/min mix,  our current vet said not to worry 
about it, they grow out of it, but we are a little concerned, any 
recommendations would be appreciated, thanks in advance, Lynn
