    That seems pretty reasonable to me Joe.  So, you guys (Bob Morris, listen up)...what does the Rule Book say about "Starting a Ride"?  Is there anything official in there?  I'm willing to BET that the founders of AERC never thought they'd have to actually define when the ride started.  Interesting times, eh?
