Ridecamp: Re: [RC] Girth rub question

My mare had some problems with chaffing at the girth, but they stopped when I 
changed to saddle that had "center-fire rigging" which moved the girth back a 
bit from all the "action."  It seemed odd at first to have the girth farther 
back, but the result speaks for itself, I guess.   She is not uncomfortable 
with the new girth position and the chaffing is a thing of the past!
