freshened this past March so if you could go to

I knew a horseman who used a goat to feed his orphaned foal---he built a
stand for the goat - like those used for milking - with a stanchion and
feeder for her.    When he turned the goat and foal together, the doe would
jump up on the stand for her feed and the foal would then nurse.
Interestingly, to me, the foal never took more than "a mare's teat length"
into his mouth, although the goat's teats were several inches long.  Also,
when the foal butted the goat to let down her milk--she whacked him with a
good kick, just like she would her own baby.
