    Megan,
    I've got both a sport saddle and a Wintec. It's a very
long story, but in a nutshell, the Wintec (with CAIR
panels and the interchangeable gullets) hasn't even
come CLOSE to making my horse as happy as he is with a
sport saddle. But, sport saddles strain my hip flexors
and cause me major lower back pain, so I couldn't use
one on him, much to his dismay. Happily, I finally
figured out how to make a sport saddle work for me.
Even though I'm 6'0 tall, I ride in a youth cut ss.
The lack of saddle bulk under my lower thigh has made
all the difference in how my legs hang under me, and
the stress on my hip flexors has decreased
considerably. The other common problem that riders
seem to have w/ the ss is figuring out which stirrup
rigging placement works best. So if you could try a
sport saddle or two, that would help you decide what
stirrup position you're most comfortable with.
    Happy trails,
    Kristi
