I used to ride in Kinney's boy's shoes but they went out of business.  Then I rode in a riding shoe that the company stopped making.  Now I ride in Ropers.  I have the Kilty style for about $75.00 and the athletic shoe style which is about $55.00.  I love them both.  I can't ride in the hiking type boots with the high ankles.  They drive me nuts.  I love my Ariats to walk in but to ride in they hurt my feet......mb
