    A world-class athlete/trainer told me to eat protein in the morning before a ride. ( I was having similar energy probs). So I make up little quiches to down (hot or cold) & it seems to last until lunch (which is usually peanut butter & jelly). I think eating that early in the am is hard, so it has to be something I like. I also use protein bars during the day. k
