[RC] Limited Distance - Ridecamp Guest

I do have a comment about how some ride management treat 25 or 35 mile rides.
I disagree with AERC sanctioned rides, like the OD that I did two weekends ago, treating the 25 mile rides like a competitive or hunter pace. I am there with horses that I want to go through the whole experience of an endurance ride/race. That means having a Top 10 and BC. Especially for the money you pay out on some of these 25 mile rides. When I first started doing endurance out in Washington state in the mid 80's, I never went to a ride that did not give out Top 10 or a BC for the 25's. These horses that I am doing 25's on will eventually do 50's hopefully, and I want to use my 25's as a race experience. I realize a lot of novice riders and horses are in the 25 milers, then maybe you need to have a seperate "Clinic" for them. There is a time limit on 25's so it is in essence a RACE.
