Hey Howard,
Instead of being paranoid and thinking the vets are "out to get you" I
suggest this. Volunteer at several rides to be the vet scribe and find out
what actually happens on the other side of the vet check. It WILL open your
eyes, and has the possibitly of making you a better horseperson/endurance
rider. Worked for me---880 miles with one pull, and that was due to a fall
on the trail, not a pull in the VC.
