Hi Louise
I ran a search and found a happy winking face named wink.bmp and also a
wink.class file in my settings--- but when I ran a Norton scan on it--
it said it wasn't a virus and I had just updated defs. Where did you get
the name "wink" as being a virus?

This is a very bad virus...you may have had it for months and not know it.
After trying to get rid of it for two weeks, I had to take my computer
in...over 70 files were infected..took them forever to fix.
*WINK* (WINKOC or something starting with WINK) runs in your windows and
only the most skilled can get it out.
The people you may know who you get this from (somewhere down the line)
and
the subject heading is such that you would be likely to open it.
Now I am off to do an emperical test with Freedom and Equi-Spot on the
herd......
