RE: Question on S hackamore

This is tooooo strange... had a new experience today... one horse who's very mouthy kept playing with the wire & bringing it up into his mouth... bad deal when you pull.

I finally pulled a ribbon (I was out on my trail) & tied the wire just loosely up to the middle of the chain so he wudn't put it in his mouth.... dumb horse!  But the tie worked, he cudn't "lip" it into his mouth no mas.

That's what I did and just got back from riding in LBJ National Grasslands (where I live) and it worked very well.  I had vet wrapped the wire.  Horse seemed comfortable.  Thanks again.
