Fwd: RC: Re:Ariat boots

Just a note - I had very average luck with the original Performers - but the
Pro series has been wonderful> Aside from THAT (my boots take a real beating
since I compete and teach), I have about 5 other pairs - different styles for
dress, casual, etc - and would never dream of wearing them on a horse. I know
that some are just not tough enough and many of them even say so now. I would
be interested in hearing which styles wear so poorly and which ones people
have that have worn well.

If you'd seen my first post on this, I talked to an Ariat sales rep. at Equine Affair in Springfield, MA. last November.  They couldn't care less.  I have emailed Ariat twice about the size issue and received no response.  I like the boots very much and have not noticed the quality issue.  I only by the top of the line boots (Performer Pro and now Hexcel Pro) so some of the problems posted here may be with the lower quality boots.  However, it must be said that Ariat's "low end" boots cost $100!
