Tying Up

1) eliminate Alfalfa from the diet
2) keep grain to a 9% or less protein level
3) try the full six shot RVI treatment. We have had great success with
RVI in two out of three mares that had tying up syndrome..some success
with the third, but she showed dramatic improvement by eliminating
alfalfa from her diet and sticking to 9% protein grain. RVI reduces or
eliminates T cell inflammation....developed in AIDS research but has
proved very successful for equine cramping/tying up problems.
