Some of the best crews I ever saw were at Applegate Lassen.  They were 
marines on leave.  I asked one guy about all the free work he was doing and 
he said that he was from Oklahoma and had always lived with horses and he was 
just so happy to be around horses and the outdoors again.  Of course it took 
about 3 days to get him to stop calling us all Ma'am and use our first 
names.....The only problem I guess would be the time.  Our ride was only a 
week.....mb
