I can't speak for Barney, but I did see the "real" version of Robyn's story as spun, errr...told by her,  that was posted to the barefoot list.  It was a fantasy and it is my understanding that this is what Barney was responding to -- Robyn's actual post not an embellished (well embellished by someone other than Robyn) version.
