As I see it, this will be wonderful coverage for the sport of
Enduraqnce Riding. One central vet check, loaded with media.
For those who have over paced their horses it should be quite a
site for the world to see.  Horses with needles, jugs, fluids
and maybe even the slow declining death of a horse.  Sometimes
you just have to wonder what is in the minds of the FEI officials.
When it comes to media coverage, I would think this is something
one would avoid.  Let the media cover the ride after the event
is finished. High profile rides, are by their nature, high risk.
Media coverage at the wrong time could set this sport back for
years.
