Re: What about blankets when trailering?

Hi Folks: Another method that I use in the winter is to sprinkle garlic in
the grain and or on any forage which I may be feeding. I know how warm I
feel after a good dose of garlic. I am assuming that the same is true for
our critters. On the forage (alfalfa, grass, oat hay, ect.) I just wet the
forage or put the garlic in solution, they literally lick the garlic up of
the ground, and the manger. Buying it in the largest size available makes it
most affordable especially if you supplement on those cold, rainy/snowy
blowing days when for some reason they want to stand outside even though the
barn is open. I still haven't figured that thought process out.
