Re: Jealousy



This horse needs a healthy dose of 'respect for humans'.
I would work with this horse on his ground manners on a line and in the
round pen.  I would highly suggest 'The Seven Games" tape by Pat Parelli.
Also, 'round pen reasoning' and 'facing up' in a round pen,  if done
properly,  would likely cure this problem. Several clinicians have videos
out that use these methods (John Lyons, Monty Roberts, etc)   This horse
needs an attitude adjustment and pecking order reassignment.
(Steph - I  hope this is not too off topic --- I have seen several horses at
endurance rides that would behave much better for the vets if they had more
respect for their handlers.)
