the most useful to encourage for endurance? Is the gaited walk efficient

Lynda,

I have a Sharon Saare Saddle that I fitted my mule with. It fits perfectly.
She is the only endurance saddle maker that I know of that has a tree that
will fit a mule with an endurance saddle. As far as the gait, I think its
whatever you and your mule are comfortable with. If you do go to the trot as
your preference, I do think you will loose your mule's gaited walk in the
future. Good luck.
