Re: RC: Waste :)

Amanda,

I just looked up an article in Equus May 1998, issue 247, titled 5
Great Ways to Conquer MOUNT MANURE-"one horse produces between 40-50
lbs. of fresh manure per day, which adds up to eight tons per year.
The per-horse volume , with bedding included, totals one to two cubic
yards monthly. "

The only thing I know for sure is my horse produces 1/2 wheelbarrow
per day or approx. 4 wheelbarrows per week and this is without
bedding!
