Re: ShortBed vs. LongBed

Hi I have the same set up. the short box with the extended cab, and a wedge nose trailer. I also have a   headache (guard) rack on the truck, just incase. I dont have any trouble at all. I go to all the rides I want to, and some have rough basecamps.  The thing I watch the closest is the room between the bed and bottom of the goose. Good luck. Annie G.

Subject: RC: ShortBed vs. LongBed

I'd appreciate any input on whether it matters on an extended cabtruck
(3/4t - powers not the issue) if the bed is long or short.  I have a
gooseneck V-nose trailer.  Have always used an 8ft. long bed  ext. cab
truck.  Would a 6 1/2ft. short bed (ext. cab) present any problems?  IE-
would manuevering to avoid hitting the rear window or other driver-error
( type hazards become much more of  factor with 1 1/2' less bed?
