YES!.      This is something I learned.  The ride where my horse tied
up........in the warmupp before and the first several miles "walking."-my
friends were walking. My horse was jigging and prancing and fussing.......I
should have just GOT OFF
and MADE her walk to do adequate warmup.  I saw several folks off and
walking at the start and thought they were
sissies!  Never again!
