75s and lack of support

The reason for many riders is that there are no bonus points for 75s like there 
are for a 100.

You complete 75 miles and you get 75 points.  You go only 25 miles further and you
double your points for a 100 to 150...

My experience is while the 75 sounds good in theory, when one is offered it is
not that well  supported - at least in the way one would think it would be. Why
it is not is somewhat a mystery since there are so many people talking about
what a good idea it is.
