Re: Sierra Club?

From my experience in our area, I would say the Sierra Club favors limiting
wilderness use to only those who are able to walk in on their own two feet.
Horses are considered to be damaging, polluting, and disgusting (they poop
on the trails, and the hikers don't want to step in that stuff or even smell
it, you understand.) This is all very well, but there is a segment of
society who is unable, for one reason or the other, to access wilderness on
their own two feet. We age, we have aches and pains and disabilities, but I
don't agree that we should be prohibited from seeing the wild, wide world
out there if we can't walk there.
