An easy way to id your saddle is cut your ss number under the
gullet.  Course if you sell it somebody else has to remember it
And then you have the problem of SS theft.==on and on

Pays to be as careful as possible and not leave temptation
out too obvious.  That can get pretty tough in a Vet check.
