Vetwrap
Duct Tape
Ace bandages
Sanitary Pads with plastic backing (cheapest and best individually wrapped guaze)
Desitin
Electrolites
Bute
Saline Solution for eyes (washing stuff out of eyes is very important)
Eye ointment
Iodine
Easyboots
Leatherman with plyers, wirecutters and tweezers

Water treatment is one of the cheapest and most effective methods of treating really horrible looking wounds I've ever seen.

My horses have gashed, bitten and ripped big wounds in themselves and each other, and as long as nothing of any color was spurting or dangling, water twice a day for at least two weeks was the best thing for it.

I always use a pressure hose and gradually get them used to full force over a few days of hoseing.

You really want to de-bride (sp?) the wound as much as possible.
