TEVIS--Suggestions for first time crew person, revisited

Hello All,
I received a private e-mail
asking if I would share the
crewing tip I received.  I would be
happy to except because I have very
little storage with Hotmail I did
not save them.

So, I would like to ask the folks
who responded if they could kindly
re-post their tips and suggestions to
Ridecamp.  Hopefully they either saved
them or their e-mail programs saved their
outgoing messages (hotmail does not!)
