RE: running on adrenaline

Title: RE: running on adrenaline

The last pull I had at the 25 mile lunch stop, my horse was acting STUPID during lunch after vetting thru fine.
I was walking him over to talk to ride management (a vet BTW) to talk about pulling and he peed dark.
He had another vet run a CRI and the results were 40/44 so they pulled me and I was relieved that I brought him
back to be checked to know for sure.  At Swanton, a horse was pulled for a 60/60 exit CRI after an hour hold.
Don’t really know what these numbers really mean for sure metabolically, but they must mean something to the vets.

K.
